I spent the better half of yesterday in Starbucks reading and finishing Slaughterhouse Five.
It wasn’t what I expected at all—I usually don’t read too many books that focus on World War II or any war books for that matter, but this one isn’t exactly about war.
Intriguing, thought-provoking, horribly funny, a little whimsical, and in some respects, optimistic.
Read it.
I’ll certainly be reading more Vonnegut in the future.
